Food is delicious and the portions are huge - and the price is very good for what you get! The fresh drinks are also sooo yummy, definitely worth trying. It can get really busy depending on when you go and parking can be a pain, but they do have a lot. It is definitely authentic and a great local spot. The times I have gone, I got takeout but they do have a few tables if you wish to eat there. It is one of those not so hidden, but unsuspecting surprises. The staff mostly speaks Spanish, but don't let that stop you (if you don't speak Spanish) from going in there. The food is already made and visible, set up like an assembly line where you can point to what you want if need be. Given the style, it is pretty quick to get in and out once it is your turn in line.

Unlike other reviews I read, This white girl from MHD (well not from there...) was treated perfectly well. I had the beef (large) and chicken (small) I pointed to what looked good. Which was hard because it all looked really good and Spanish rice (there were three different kinds) they were out of plantains, but there was a whole array of other things we should have tried, my Spanish is rusty and my teenage son was mortified that I even tried. I really wished I had a menu or someone could suggest a few more items. Next time. Place was packed and I didn't want to hold up the line. Very generous portions, we will make two meals of this. Thank you!

Best and most authentic Dominican food in the area. My boyfriend and I have been coming for the past 15 years. Service can be spotty at times depending on who is helping you but otherwise still worth the trip. Serving sizes are usually on the more heavy side and relatively cheap (again, dependent on your server). The time of day you go is important as you may get their old rice and meats which aren't as satisfying as their food fresh. My favorite dishes are the oxtails, carne asada, guisado, rice and beans. Will always come back when I need my next fix!

Casual Dominican spot with the best stewed oxtails in town. This place is almost always packed but the line moves and the food is worth the wait. Not a classy joint and that's why the food is fire !

Always a line and now I know why! Visiting from Hawaii we don't get this type of food at all. Everything was savory and tasty. Honestly this place made the most impact on my taste buds during my vacation. As they say, eat where the locals eat!
